1. Dane County Legislative Agenda  
Dane County Legislative Agenda  
Ratcliff discussed the additions she will be recommending to the County Board. Dane  
County Lobbyist Carrie Springer email about aging issue that are on the Dane County  
Legislative Agenda was included. RATCLIFF is hoping to have this presented at the  
Health & Human Needs Committee for their April 10, 2023 meeting.  
A motion was made by Farsetta, seconded by MCGINNITY, to approve the  
recommendations presented for the Dane County Legislative items to be  
proposed to the Health & Human Needs Committee at their next meeting. The  
motion carried by the following vote:

F. Reports to Board  
1. State and Federal Report (Langer)  
Laura Langer of the WI Bureau of Aging and Disability Resources (BADR) reported the  
State Aging Manual Handbook for Caregiver is out for comment until March 17. Office of  
Aging is looking at changing the funding formula in which Dane County should see an  
increase in funds. Possible Federal increases to OAA funding of 8% and HDM by 25%.  
State Advocacy Day is May 9 at the State Capital. May 11 COVID unwinding will begin.  
Unsure how OAA funds will be effected and the flexibility of going between funding  
programs.

Last meeting will be March 22. A lot of information shared and now the action stages of  
the group should be starting.

-Cleveland James has been appointed to the AAA Board by County Executive. Brief  
introduction of Mr. James to Board members. Mr. James will be filling the open position  
from Ted Bunck reaching his term limit on the AAA Board.

2022 Leck Grant Summary  
AAA Manager Sridevi Mohan summarized the reports from 2022. The Urban Triage  
report will be added when received.
