Chair Ripp called the Park Commission meeting to order at 5:30 PM.

Minutes of the January 25, 2023 Park Commission  
A motion was made by BROUWER, seconded by THORESEN, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote 6-0, YGP 1-0.  
C. Public Hearing - 2023 Heritage Center Youth Programming Fees  
Chair Ripp opened the Public Hearing at 5:33 PM. There were no meeting attendees or  
communications received related to the proposed updates.

MADISON AREA FOOD PANTRY GARDENS, INC. (ELIZABETH POPE  
AND POPE FAMILY TRUST)

A motion was made by BROUWER, seconded by GOFORTH, that the Resolution

F. Items Requiring Committee Action  
1. 2023 Heritage Center Programming Fees  
Lael Pascual reviewed the proposed addition of a day camp education program fee  
category. The Heritage Center is planning to expand the Junior Naturalist Summer Camp  
to full-days, 5 days per week. All other program fee ranges are unchanged.  
A motion was made by BOGUE, seconded by MORAN, that the day camp  
education program fee category be adopted. The motion carried by a voice  
vote 6-0, YGP 1-0.  
Educational Program Fee Update 2023  
Supervisor Eicher arrived virtually at 6:05 PM.  
G. Presentations  
1. Cherokee Marsh Wildlife Area wetland restoration/mitigation bank  
James Brodzeller gave an overview of the agricultural mitigation bank program  
administered by the WDNR. Dane County is planning to implement a wetland mitigation  
site on approximately 20 acres of the Cherokee Marsh Wildlife Area, southeast of the  
intersection of River Road and HWY 19 in the Town of Westport. A Memorandum of  
Understanding between the WDNR and Dane County will be brought to a future Park  
Commission meeting for a recommendation of approval.
