Chair of EOC introduced herself and interest in social justice and equity.  
Discussion on hybrid meeting guidelines, expectations, and quorum. Discussion  
on protocols in notifying staff of attendance.

Discussion to review past meeting minutes.  
D. Action Items  
1. RESJ PIE - (2021 Reports and 2023 Application)  
- PIE Grant Discussion -Report  
- 2023 Application (Focus area)  
Discussion of reports and applications of RESJ PIE recipients. Staff to send  
reports to members. Discussion about grant recipients to identify stories of  
what programs did and what was the outcome. Chair JONES identified 2  
recipients: 100 Black Men and YWCA that have good messages for the public.  
Discussion for members to identify positive outcomes of recipients of RESJ  
PIE grant by June and have someone from the County to write an article.  
Discussion that OEI Advisory members to review reports and bring highlights  
of programs that may be included in a press release for May meeting.  
Discussion that press release will lift work of the recipients. Subsequently,  
press release can include the purpose of the OEI Advisory Board Committee  
to County Board and public. Discussion to submit any changes to PIE grant to  
be submitted before end of May.

that County Board Chair Miles will be appointing.
