Motion made by PELLEBON, seconded by GRADY, that the Minutes be

approved. The motion carried by voice vote. Minutes approved

C. Action Items

1. PIE Grant 2024 Application

Discussion on the language for the 2024 PIE Grant application. Discussion

ensued on changes to be made to 2024 application and how to make it

effective for applicants. All OEI Advisory Board members will review the

application and list recommend where changes are to be made.

D. Discussion Items

1. Scope Plan Input

This item was tabled.

2. Membership to OEI Advisory - update

PELLEBON AND WRIGHT will be ending their term as County Board

Supervisors. Discussion on asking for continuing with OEI Advisory.

3. Review of documents related to DEI

PELLEBON pulled together documents for OEI Advisory. Request for staff to

review to determine if documents can be used or updated. OEI Advisory

members to view.

4. Chapter 15 Ordinance Review

OEI Advisory members to look over ordinance. Discussion on wording of the

ordinance. Discussion on training Board of Supervisors.

5. Equity & Inclusion Training for Supervisors

Discussion on Equity Plan training. Acknowledgment to staff from PELLEBON

for presenting well. More discussion to more follow up training. Discussion on

how to approach DEI and developing different equity lens.
