Lohmeier asked for any new feedback on the handbook. Meier and Lohmeier distributed
several physical copies as drafts for members to take back to their agencies and have
people review and mark any suggested changes. It was recommended "First Action"
section be more at the forefront for convenience and quick reference. Strandlie to give
handbook to Stoughton hospital liaison to take to their infectious diseases group for
feedback. Williams suggested assigning sections of handbook to agencies to review.
Committee members to review flow charts and regroup if there are issues to discuss.
Lang suggested assigning a hard deadline to push people to review handbook. Meier
suggested it be done by June. Committee agreed to approve final changes at next
meeting and get handbook to print.
D. Discussion Items
Updates from Partners
Carbon reported how fluids administered during patient transport don't count unless they
are specifically recorded as per CMS requirements. Kronenfeld suggested looking at any
