C. Discussion Items  
MCI Kits  
DCEMS office has additional MCI kits requested by agencies ready to be distributed.  
They will be reaching out to those agencies to arrange pick up and sending invoices.  
Critical Incident Document Update  
Meier pulling together group of members from each association to work on reviewing the  
document and outlining a training plan going forward. Also looking at bringing training  
opportunities into the county, possibility for train the trainer.  
Committee Structure Update  
At the next EMS Commission meeting May 26th, Chair Plotkin will be proposing a new  
structure with one EMS Advisory Subcommittee underneath the EMS Commission. It's  
role will be to advise the DCEMS Office and EMS Commission on needs in various fields.  
Membership will be made up of hospital liaisons, Public Health, private ambulance  
services, and various EMS personnel at different levels of service and population served.  
Annual EMS Survey  
DCEMS office will be sending out annual survey for agencies to complete. Meier asks  
members for any suggested edits or additions. Lang suggests defining questions better.  
Roman asks about inclusion of education questions on the survey. Lang to send list to  
Meier of devices/products to include on the survey; will ask agencies what they own to  
get better idea of countywide needs.
