B. Consideration of Minutes  
MINUTES FROM OCTOBER 4, 2021  
A motion was made by Linda Ketcham and seconded by Yanette Figueroa Cole  
to Approve the minutes of 10/04/21. Michele Doolan and Sarah Smith abstained  
from voting citing were not at the last meeting. Motion passed by voice vote.

Lim reported there was an error in the general public comment entry on the  
agenda, so people were unable to register for general public comment. People  
registered under other agenda items and were allowed to speak during the  
general public comment period.

Linette Rhodes from City of Madison Community Development Division and Casey  
Becker from Dane County Housing Access & Affordability Division provided updates on  
the city and county’s affordable housing funds and answered committee members’  
questions.

Update on City Budget processes – Jim O’Keefe provided overview of the  
Mayor’s 2022 operating budget and what to expect for housing and homeless  
programs. Common Council is expected to take action on the budget  
11/09-11/11/21.  
-Update on County Budget processes – Casey Becker provided overview of  
the County Executive’s 2022 operating budget, recent amendments, and what  
to expect for housing and homeless programs. Board of Supervisors is  
expected to take action on the budget 11/08/21.
