A motion was made by MILES, seconded by SCHAUER to move Sub 1. Motion  
then made by SCHAUER, second by MILES to amend Sub 1 to add before the last  
resolved clause:  
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Dane County Board of Supervisors strongly  
encourages the use of AEC employees to perform this work, and requests that the  
AEC administration minimize use of the contracted service to the least extent  
possible, and  
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Dane County Board of Supervisors requests  
the AEC administration provide a status report on the use of contracted service to  
the Personnel and Finance Committee at their second meeting in June 2022 and  
quarterly thereafter the further requests that the AEC administration include in its  
2023 budget requests a transition plan from contracted service to in-house staff as  
revenue allows.
