A motion was made by GRAY, seconded by HATCHER, that the minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote 5-0, YGM 1-0.  
Supervisor Levin arrived at 4:52 pm. Levin requested to be listed as voting in

H. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, December 9, 2021 and will be a joint  
meeting with the Environmental, Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee and  
the Lakes & Watershed Commission.  
Piaget reported that the Dane County Land & Water Resources Department will  
be participating in the Conservation Awareness Poster Contest sponsored by  
Wisconsin Land + Water Conservation Association and the National Association  
of Conservation Districts and at a future meeting will be requesting committee  
members to participate as judges for the submitted posters from area schools and  
youth. The theme for the 2021-2022 school year is "Healthy Soil: Healthy Life".  
Ritt reported that her class, in which she is a teacher, is participating in the Adopt  
a Cow program associated with the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. As part of the  
program, her class will receive virtual updates on a jersey calf living on a farm in  
Lancaster, Wisconsin.
