MINUTES FROM NOVEMBER 1, 2021  
Ulysses Williams asked if any opposition to minutes. No discussion and no  
opposition; approved the minutes of 11/01/2021 by unanimous voice vote.

1. 2021 Committee year in review & development of the 2022 Committee work plan  
Sarah Lim from the City of Madison Community Development Division presented on the  
2021 Committee year in review and 2022 Committee work plan. Committee discussed  
other topics they would like to have presented for discussion and action. Staff answered  
committee members’ questions.  
Ulysses Williams proposed to postpone vote on item next meeting. No one  
opposed.  
2021 YEAR IN REVIEW & 2022 WORK PLAN

2. Virtual vs. In-person default 2022 meeting mode for City-County Homeless Issues Committee  
A motion was made by Benford and seconded by Doolan to remain virtual.  
Committee discussed. Motion passed unanimously.

1. Reindahl updates  
Update from Sarah Lim on Reindahl Park encampment closure and alternatives such as  
structured outdoor shelter at Dairy Dr. location, non-congregate shelters, and hotel  
shelter at The Plaza. Committee members  
asked questions of staff and discussed result of closing the encampment.

2. Men's shelter updates  
Update on men’s shelter – Linette Rhodes provided update on finding location for men’s  
shelter and City of Madison’s next steps on the purchases of building, the timeline for  
approval, and anticipation for occupying the temporary location(s). Committee members  
asked questions and discussed.

outbreak of COVID-19, vulnerable population hotel, medical respite center, and other

A motion was made by FIGUEROA, seconded by DOOLAN, that the meeting be  
adjourned. The motion carried unanimously.
