C. Discussion Items  
911 Discussion - Hospital Policies Regarding Self-Presenting GSW  
Kronenfeld discussed questions that were posed re: hospital process when they have self  
presenting GSW at their ERs. All planned to go back to discuss further.  
Diversion Update  
DCEM, Dr. Kronenfeld and Dr. Lohmeier have been working with our hospital partners to  
ensure diversion is being utilized through WiTrac and communicated appropriately to 911  
EMS. More information to come.  
EMS to ED Triage  
Supply Chain  
Some concerns have been raised about how we as a system manage when there are  
medication or supply shortages. We will plan to bring these type of concerns to MAS as  
needed in the future.  
Medical Advisors 2022  
Dane County has put out a RFP to hire on three medical advisors in place of a single  
medical director for 2022. More information to come as this contract is procured.  
Protocols  
Final draft to the website for review with a plan to go live once we determine when the  
Scope of practice changes through the State are planned for.  
Public Safety Medical Guide  
Dr. Lohmeier worked with Meier to complete a guidebook for LE. This was started prior to  
COVID and was brought back to the table to complete.  
DCEMS Office Update  
Continue to assist with COVID support.
