- Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future – Community of Learning Practice.  
DCFC/MFPC representatives participating in this group (THAKKAR and Moore) reported  
that the first meeting was held. A survey asking input (optional) from council members  
will be sent out; responses needed by Jan 3.  
- 2022 Meeting schedule. Even months: DCFC/MFPC joint food council meetings.  
Councils will meet separately on odd months.

Updates delivered regarding the ongoing COVID-19 situation for Dane County.  
- Dane County – Jess Guffey Calkins  
The UW-Madison Extension Community Food Systems Program is hiring a Food  
Entrepreneurship Outreach Specialist. This position will develop, implement and evaluate  
the Community Food Systems Program's Food Entrepreneurship Ecosystem  
Development (FEED) Initiative, a statewide program that promotes food entrepreneurship  
training and network development for individuals facing structural barriers to food  
entrepreneurship and value-added producers. The position description is at  
period will close December 27th.  
Registration is open for the 2022 Organic Vegetable Production Conference, organized  
by UW-Madison Extension Dane County and FairShare CSA Coalition:  
e/. It will be online on February 3, 4, 7, and 8, 2022. This producer-initiated conference is  
designed for advanced growers and attracts participants from throughout the Midwest and  
beyond.

Willy St funding drive is ongoing, with donations being matched by the Co-op. $10,000  
match fund has already been met.  
DD issuance is up 19% from projected, with redemption up 12%. Donations are up 10%,  
with significant increase in cash donations at the register.
