E. Reports
LEZBERG_NPPLP PILOT PROJECT_1-11-2022
Nonprofit Peer Learning Program – Sharon Lezberg, Community Development Educator,
presented an overview of the Nonprofit Peer Learning program. The new program was
developed in response to the research project report, Toward a Stronger Nonprofit Sector
completed in collaboration with the Madison Community Foundation.
EXTENSION PROGRAM REPORT DECEMBER 2021
Director’s report – Carrie Edgar shared a staffing update – a new nutrition educator, Emily
Randerson started on Jan 3, the communications specialist will start on Feb 1, and
interviews and references have been completed on the regional dairy educator position.
The Volunteer Income Tax Site will be opening on Jan 31 and has moved to the South
Madison UW Partnership office. Appointments are mandatory and can be made online.
Individuals will meet with tax preparers this year. We continue to focus on virtual
programming at this time. The December program summary was sent to all members for
review.
