A motion was made by BROUWER, seconded by THORESEN, that the Minutes be

1. Fish Lake Trailer Demo Update  
Pete Jopke reported that the contractor completed demolition of the Dane County owned  
houses on Fish Lake Rd around December 1, 2021. Dane County also owns a property  
on the south end of Fish Lake with four trailers on it. The Lake Management crew will  
remove the trailers this winter. Permits are in place and work is expected to begin the  
week of January 31, 2022.  
2. New Volunteer Coordinator: Claire Lamberg  
Dane County Parks hired a new volunteer coordinator, Claire Lamberg. She was a LTE  
for the last ~2 years, working with the land management program. She started getting to  
know our team as a volunteer herself before she was hired as an LTE. Claire earned an  
Environmental Studies degree from Warren Wilson College in NC in Conservation Biology  
and Sustainable Agriculture. She is very excited to be begin her work as the Land &  
Water Volunteer Coordinator.  
3. Planning Updates: Babcock County Park Stormwater and Accessibility  
Improvements, Fish Camp County Parks Improvements, & Phase 2 Lower Yahara River  
Trail  
Chris James shared attached exhibits while describing project plans and timelines.  
Babcock County Park: A request for proposals (RFP) is out for final design, construction  
documents and permits. Plans may be complete in time to include this project in the  
2023 capital budget requests. Chris plans to attend a Town of Dunn board meeting this  
spring to share the project plans.  
Fish Camp County Park: Staff is continuing to work on design for accessible shoreline  
improvements.  
Lower Yahara River Trail: RFP will soon be issued for professional construction  
administration. Bids for construction should be let this summer and construction will  
hopefully start the winter of 2022-23.

bargaining reasons require a closed session.

A motion was made by THORESEN, seconded by GOFORTH, that the Park  
Commission Meeting exit out of closed session. The motion carried by the
