Chair Veldran called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m.

B. Consideration of Minutes  
SEPTEMBER 28, 2022 STC MINUTES  
A motion was made by LYMAN, seconded by ASHBAUGH, to approve the  
minutes. The motion carried by a voice vote 6-0. Hardesty abstained.

1. Approval of s85.21 County Elderly and Disabled Transportation Assistance Program  
Grant Application for 2023  
2023 85.21 APPLICATION WORKBOOK  
Dane County Transportation Coordinator Nathanael Brown provided an overview of the  
2023 application and answered Commission members' questions.  
A motion was made by DOOLAN, seconded by ASHBAUGH, to approve the  
2023 application. The motion carried by a voice vote 8-0.  
D. Presentations  
1. Work 'n Wheels (Jeff Segebrecht, Director)  
The presentation was postponed.  
E. Reports to Committee  
Lyman reported funding has been identified to support communities in updating or  
developing ADA transition plans. The Public Right of Way Accessibility Guidelines first  
proposed in 2011 are expected to be adopted in December. Lyman reported the  
Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM), which includes representatives  
from many federal agencies, is working to address accessibility issues and resolve the  
segregation of transportation funding streams that causes many inefficiencies by 2026.  
He offered to share more about CCAM during a future meeting.

Next meeting: Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 5:15 p.m. via Zoom.

A motion was made by DOOLAN, seconded by CARTER, to adjourn. The motion  
carried by a voice vote 8-0.
