Continuing to work on efforts around changes to city ag leases and land access
preservation in the city and county.
Staff Reports
- City of Madison – George Reistad via Nick Heckman
Madison Public Market. The project continues to make progress; group is nearing some
important legislative milestones for the project in July and August pertaining to: operating
agreement, lease, responsibility matrix regarding facilities and operations, project
construction bid process.
Madison Forward Fund - a guaranteed income pilot. Launched Tuesday 6/21, with over
2800 applications completed and over 1575 applications in-progress already. Project staff
continue to do outreach, media, and project materials distribution to get the word out and
increase community awareness of the program. Program Website:
Healthy Retail Access Program (HRAP) – UW-Madison Extension is finishing up their
evaluation report focused on individual HRAP projects over the last few years. Findings to
be presented in July or August.

Mayor Rhodes-Conway is the featured in a blog post for No Kid Hungry this month
pertaining to hunger prevention in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Program wraps on two bikes and one docking station.
