A motion was made by ENGELBERGER, seconded by RIPP, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote 5-0 and YGP 2-0.

Food Entrepreneurship & Local Market Development Update - Jess Guffey Calkins,  
Community Food Systems Educator, provided a brief overview of her programming  
highlighting the food entrepreneur workshops offered this past spring and the FEED  
conference scheduled for November.

F. Reports to Committee

Director Report – Carrie Edgar, construction on teaching garden greenhouse starting  
this week to be complete by Dec 1. Staffing update – Interviews this week for family  
relationships educator and Bilingual Youth Development Educator position approved and  
will be posted this week. Want to be included on the Ag newsletter?, YGP OA has been  
submitted and should be referred on Thursday evening. The August Program Summary  
Report was shared with all.

G. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
The committee decided to meet on Wed, Oct. 19 at 4pm. Carrie Edgar will send out a
