MINUTES FROM JUNE 15, 2022  
A motion was made by BENSON, seconded by BANDREDDI, to approve the  
minutes. The motion carried by a voice vote (5-0).

1. Review of Presentation to HHN and DCYA 2024 Planning (Wolfe, Benson)  
Benson summarized a presentation to the Health & Human Needs Committee in July,  
The focus was an overview of the 2021 Dane County Youth Assessment. Suggestions  
from the Committee included surveying teachers and younger children, and to add  
questions on social media.

2. Focus of Upcoming Meetings and Review of Priority Topics (Wolfe, Bandreddi)  
Further narrowed areas of focus for upcoming year:  
• Amplifying youth voice (maybe Voices of Our Youth Summit, maybe convening  
youth planning groups).  
• School violence and related planning and services for students.  
• Elevate youth voice and needs, especially marginalized youth. Do more listening  
sessions.  
3. Discussion of Hybrid/In-Person Meetings (Meinen)  
It is expected that the Commission may soon have to switch to hybrid meetings in which  
members would be in person and the public could attend in person or via Zoom. The  
Commission is waiting for more guidance from the County Board Office.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, 19 October 2022, at 5:30 p.m.

A motion was made by BANDREDDI, seconded by WILLIAMS to adjourn. The  
motion carried by a voice vote (6-0).
